Our story
Warmth, tradition, and a table by the sea
Since 2020, Kastana has been a Lebanese restaurant and café on the Marina Crescent waterfront in Salmiya, Kuwait.
The name
“Kastana” is the Arabic word for chestnut — the warm, roasted comfort of a Lebanese winter, shared on the street and around the table. It captures what we care about most: honest food, generous hospitality, and the simple joy of gathering people together.
What we do
We serve a full Lebanese menu — mezze and salads, charcoal grills and hearty mains, manakish, sweets, specialty coffee and fresh juices — from breakfast through the evening. Whether it’s a quiet morning coffee overlooking the marina or a long dinner with family, there’s a seat for you.

Food safety
Kastana operates alongside Medusa Food Equipment Company, which is certified to ISO 22000:2018 (certificate no. AMER300697, valid 2026–2029) for the packaging and repackaging of food items for distribution. It reflects the food-safety standards we uphold across our operation.
